Guestbook

  1. Georgia was such an inspiration to many breast cancer survivors during her years in remission and beyond. I am sure she is basking in the Glory of God now!

  2. Doug, i have known you and Georgia for many years growiiing up with you and Gus and going to school wth Georgia. God has another hero and a precious angel. God bless you and your family during this time. Love, Sylvia Ezzelle Long

  3. To the family of Georgia let me say, she will always be remembered as a smiling, positive person. We grew up together although totally different in personality. She was quiet and reserved and accomplished ,as she formed herself through our younger years. We were educated at the same schools –grew up in the same neighborhood and shared the same circle of friends. She will be missed and she being dead–yet speaketh. Ralph L. Downing

  4. Georgia and I worked very closely for many years at Nash Community College. She was one of my most favorite people. She was always so upbeat and had a smile on her face. I missed her every day after she retired. My prayers to the family. She was very loved by a lot of people and wil be missed dearly.l

  5. Doug I Remember Georgia from Bassett school,rm wilson, and senior high. She always was such a sweet lovely person.I know she had a long struggle with her illness, but always was positive when Brian and I would see her.I know she loved the Lord, and He is comforting her now.May His peace be with you and her family. Sandra and Brian Lamm

  6. Georgia was a rare woman who touched the lives of many at Nash Community College, but mine especially so. As my student, co-worker, and friend, Georgia made me laugh – and cry- and see life for the precious gift that it is. She brought passion to all that she did from Service Learning to Critical Thinking. I keep the Eiffel Tower from her Europe trip in 2008 on my desk as a reminder to live fully each and every day. You are a courageous and faithful family because I know Georgia did not fight this battle alone. My prayers are with you all. May she rest at last in peace. Marbeth Holmes (Her Hippie friend) LOL

  7. To Douglas Roberson and family Georgia was a wonderful co-worker and we enjoyed the various projects she was involved in. Our prayers are with you. Keith Smith
