Freda Carol Horne Roberts

WILSON – Freda Carol Horne Roberts, age 61, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Born in Pitt County, NC on November 22, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Carl Horne. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sarah Hines Roberts.

Freda was truly one of a kind, possessed with a stubbornness only God could create, her determination was the very best kind. She cherished spending time with family and friends, held genuine affection for everyone in her life, and was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor that would brighten anyone’s day. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, Freda will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Freda is survived by her husband, Allison McDuffie Roberts; her children, Timmothy Horne (Magen), Andrew Roberts, Beth Roberts, Bradley Roberts, and Lauren Roberts; her grandchildren, Alaina Horne, Adelyn Horne, Amelia Horne, Kinsley Hardie, and Nathaniel Hardie; her mother, Patricia Margaret Samson Horne; and several extended family members and many dearest friends.

A Private Family Service to celebrate Freda’s life will be held at a later date.
