Francis J Bogdovics

ROCKY MOUNT - Francis J. Bogdovics, 70, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his home. He was born November 23, 1939 in Roebling, New Jersey, son of the late Adam and Bertha Selenick Bogdovics. Francis was a military veteran having served in the United States Navy and was a successful businessman for 46 years as a customer painter. He was an avid fisherman spending many hours on the water with family and friends. Francis was the “Grill Master” and loved to cook and enterain his friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 47 years Janice Cribb Bogdovics; sons, Michael Bogdovics, Richard Bogdovics; daughter, Sandra Lamprecht; grandchildren, Megan Glover and husband Steven, Bethani Bogdovics and Richard Bogdovics, Jr; great-grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Krista Glover. Francis was preceded in death by his son Steven who passed away in 2004. The family will receive family and friends 7-8:30pm, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Francis will be 2:00pm Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home Chapel with Alice Warner presiding.
