Frances Tugwell Proctor

Frances Tugwell Proctor, 83, of Rocky Mount, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010. She was born January 30, 1927 in Pitt County, daughter of the late William Joseph Tugwell and Leona Elizabeth Tugwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband Linwood Proctor; brothers, Harry Tugwell, Joe Tugwell, James Tugwell, and David Tugwell; and sister Louise Ezzell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three daughters, Lynn P. Sellars and husband Carl, Jody P. Webb and Terry P. Pope, all of Rocky Mount; and grandchildren, Jennifer Fisher and husband Kevin, Kelly Paris, Kari Webb and husband Tim, Cameron Webb, Allen Pope, Debbie Williams and husband Dean, Kathy Adcox and husband Mark, Ronnie Sellars, and Mike McCain. She will also be remembered by her great-grandchildren, Jonathan Fisher and wife Patricia, Michael Fisher, Phillip Fisher, Reagan Webb, Griffin Webb, and Madison Pope; sisters, Evelyn T. Judy and Virginia T. Webb; and several nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Friday evening, March 26, 2010 from 7:00-8:30pm at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A graveside service in memory of Frances will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Pineview Cemetery with her nephews, Dr. Billy Webb and Rev. Scott Ezzell officiating.
