Rocky Mount - Frances Redmond Weaver, age 88, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015. Born in Wilson County, NC on January 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William German Redmond and Margie Elizabeth Williamson Redmond. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Troy Weaver; her sisters, Mamie Redmond, Ella Ruth Madigan, Meredith Clark and Margie Williford Jones.
Frances leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Troy Weaver and his wife, Ann, of West Columbia, SC; her daughters, Candee Weaver Davis and her husband, Billy, of Rocky Mount; and Kay Weaver Bailey and her husband, Roy, of Rocky Mount. She is survived by her grandchildren, Christie Oakley Strickland and her husband, Van, of Waxhaw; Laura Bailey Pipkin and her husband, Steve, of Nashville; and Alan Troy Weaver and his wife, Conny of Burenreuath, Germany; her great-grandchildren, Tyler Strickland, Grayson Strickland, Emma Weaver, Sydney Pipkin; and Smilla Weaver. She is also survived by three sisters, Doris Brake of Rocky Mount; Barbara Braziel of Elm City; and Brenda Lucas of Rocky Mount.
The family would like to thank a very special friend and care taker, Patsy Pittman, for all of her love and dedication she showed to Frances.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Joshua Kelly officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service.
