Fidelia Griffin Morgan

Fidelia Griffin Morgan, 83, passed away October 22, 2021 after a brief, but difficult battle with cancer. Mrs. Morgan lived a full and warm life, filled with joy and bliss. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Taswell Griffin, Jr. and Fidelia Overton Griffin; husband, William Thomas Morgan; four brothers, Richard Taswell Griffin III, William Buxton Griffin, Sr., John Thomas Griffin, and James Griffin; and son-in-law, David Cain. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her two children, Michael David Morgan (Valerie) and Elizabeth Morgan Cain; three grandchildren, Abigail Morgan Hall (Clint), Dakota Alexander Cain, and Logan Maddux Cain; two great-grandchildren, Allie-Kate Crush Hall, and Jake Morgan Hall; and five sisters, Nell Davenport, Ruth Williams, Marjorie Ramsey, Rebecca Pittman, and Charlotte Ahalt. A Celebration of Fidelia's life will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
