Dear Wanda and family, you are right about the Sharpsburg Restaurant family ties. Before Tommy and I married in 1994, we began our membership to your family at the restaurant. We followed to the shopping center on 301, back to Sharpsburg, then to 97. We experienced a community connection that will be forever treasured. Granny Faye was a wonderful gift to us all and isn’t that what life is all about. Love and prayers to you all.
So sorry for your loss.
I’d like to send my condolences to Ms Faye’s family. She was always a good friend to my parents (Francie & Charles Smith) and made all of us feel so welcome and appreciated in the restaurant. She was so supportive when my mom passed away and still made sure we were eating well. I remember how she loved to make my daughter smile as a toddler and later snuck her chocolate mints. She will surely be missed.
So sorry to hear of Faye’s death. Ate with her and Don many times. She was a wonderful lady. Condolences to her family.
So sorry to hear of Faye’s death. Knew her for years. Loved her.
