Barbara, so sorry to read about the loss of your mother. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. All my love to you and your family. Jane Pate
I met Elsie while working in the Rocky Mount school system. She was a classy lady and we shared many fun times with elegant luncheonsteas and crafty get-togethers. What a creative lady she was! He home was so warm and welcoming and filled with family memories. I still have some of the tree decorations we made. I relocated to Florida in 1983 but still kept in touch with Elsie. We exchanged Christmas cards for years and was saddened when a few years ago, the card that I received said she was not doing well. I still sent cards but soon lost touch. Please know that every memory I have of Elsie is special. I loved spending time with her and learning from her. She was a wealth of knowledge. Please accept my condolences in this difficult time. It is never easy to lose a loved one.
