Elizabeth Jones Rigg

WOODBRIDGE, VA - Elizabeth Jones Rigg, 90, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011. A native of Nash County, NC, she was born February 25, 1921 to Richard and Fannie Bett Jones. She was class Valedictorian at Red Oak High School and attended Phillips Business College in Lynchburg, VA. She retired as a supervisor in Personnel Records with the FBI after 28 years of service. She is survived by a son, Charles Thomas Rigg of Woodbridge, VA; four grandchildren, John Thomas Rigg (Candi Ann), and James Timothy Rigg (Chrissie Ann), both of Ruther Glen, VA and Travis Shannon Rigg and Julie Ann Rigg, both of Woodbridge, VA; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Bunn of Stan Hope, NC; and two brothers, Robert L. Jones (Anne) of Raleigh, NC and Elbert Ray Jones (Helen) of Nashville, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 25, 2011 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Dayton officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Jones-Hedgepeth Family Cemetery in Nash County.
