Guestbook

  1. I am so saddened by Dawn’s passing. She was a dear, sweet friend and will be terribly missed. I’m sure she is watching over all of us as we speak.

  2. I am so sorry to hear about Dawn. She always had a smile on her face and something nice to say. I enjoyed talking to her in the hallways or while riding the elevator together at First United Methodist. Rest in peace.

  3. For God so loved the world (Dawn) that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 316 I am thanking God for Dawn’s life and her commitment to Bible Study Fellowship. It was an honor to hear her speak of how God was working in her life each week. We will hold you all in our hearts and pray for you all in this terrible loss.

  4. Dawn was a good friend. We will all miss her terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with her parents & family at this time. Love , Sarah Collins

  5. To many fun summers with Dawn and her family in Duck, and to a girl who was always smiling and upbeat. Cheers to you, Dawn. The Carters

  6. My condolence to the family. May the God Almighty, comfort you with his word Ps. 3729, is a promise for the future. All thou the Bible we are given words of comfort, for our loss, in times of grief. One of my favorite verses is John 1125, Jesus said I am the resurrection & the life. It is thru this promise that we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again.

  7. I am so shocked! She was such a wonderful, smart, sweet, caring person. She baby sat my kids at a time when we, my husband and I, we’re traveling and it was a comfort for her to walk into our home and take care of my kids. She came with us to the beach and molded in with my Va Beach cousins like she’d been coming all her life. She was a staple in so many of our lives and we will not be the same now that she’s gone. Love, peace and comfort, the kind that only God can provide, to her family and loved ones. Sue Bulluck

  8. Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

  9. I have heard so many stories of the great Nanny . Dawn warmed the hearts of so many children. Her love and precious memories will live on in memory of all those children and their parents. Our prayers are with her parents , brothers and other family members. May GOD surround you all with love and peace that only He can give. In Christian sympathy, Tom and Martha L. Barnes
