RALEIGH - Elizabeth Darlene Davis Whitehead, age 43, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012. She was born in Nash County on October 20, 1969 to Robert Ray Davis, Sr. and the late Elmyra Walton Davis. Darlene worked as a Computer Systems Analyst at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill for ten years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of thirteen years, Frank Whitehead; father, Robert Ray Davis, Sr.; brother, Robert Ray (Robbie) Davis, Jr. and his fiance, Donna Starling.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 13, 2012, 12:30pm - 2:00pm at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Darlene will follow at 2:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Brandon Dees officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
