Edward Frank Johnson, age 70, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born on January 18, 1945 in Kinston, NC. He was predeceased by his parents, William "Bill" Johnson and Mildred Jackson Johnson and step-mother, Roxie D. Johnson. He is survived by his aunt, Jewel M. Johnson of Grifton; several cousins; and step-sisters, Marlene D. Wilson of New Bern and Phyllis D. Dewar and husband James of Fuquay Varina. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at St. John's Episcopal Church Cemetery, 2000 Cannon Price Road, Grifton, NC 28530 with Rector Gene Carpenter officiating. A gathering with family and friends will be held following the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N.
