Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My daddy. I will forever remember all you stood for. Not a one of us is perfect, nobody, we all make mistakes, but one thing you have always instilled upon all that had the pleasure to know you was that of a giving heart. You were my father, you taught us right from wrong and that we should always help one another. You loved us, you played with us, you invested all of yourself to your family. Many times I would have had nothing but you always were there to give, to pick us up and to start us going again. You gave all you had always. I will always remember you asking the homeless sir when did you last eat and you would go and get a meal or perhaps a hot cup of coffee and return to that person with what you bought for them. I remember you giving money to so many that were in need. You are and had one of the kindness souls I have ever known. I will miss you daddy, but I will forever carry you in my heart and all the wonderful memories you gave to us. Nobody can take that from us. I know you are in heaven now, I know you are with my mama and I know you are at peace. I will miss talking to you and seeing your face but that is the selfish side of me, thank you Lord for loving my daddy, for taking him in his sleep, and thank you Lord for leading him back to my mama, which is where his heart has always been. Daddy, Eddie and I both love you and our mama and we are so going to miss you, but you taught us well and we will rise above and make you proud of all your hard work and efforts. Rest in Peace my daddy and give my mama a kiss for us too! Love you both forever and ever…your pig and nobody else’s either. Thank you for loving us and all your worries and thoughts have been heard and we will never let you down.

  2. Mr. Rhodes, I never met you, but I’ve have known your children Beverly and Eddie, most of our lives. You had to have been a special man, to have raised two great kids like them. Rest in peace, for a job well done!
