Ellis – your Mother was a dear lady and certainly one which we have frequently spoken about having just recently sold CoAhBar. We are saddened by your loss. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time. Theresa H Harrell and many of the Haggerty family
Lola thank you so much for your message. Your thought and prayers mean so much.
Thank you so much for your message . It means so much! Would love to talk with you sometime. I know mama and daddy thought so much or you. I received your call a while back and lost your number . Call me sometime and maybe be can get together.
As we make our journey through this life, death is our final battle. Whenever I am troubled, & lost in deep despair, I bundle all my troubles up & go to God in prayer. I tell him I am heartsick & lost & lonely, too, That my mind is deeply burdened & I dont know what to do But I know he loves me & I humbly ask if in his love hell calm my heart, for me& then I just keep quiet & think, only thoughts of peace & if I abide in stillness my restless murmurings cease. (Ps.3418) (John 316) Due to the ramson sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we know that we have the hope of seeing our loved ones once again. The Bible gives us hope, over & over again. Jesus said I am the resurrection, & the life. He that exercises faith in me, though he dies, will come to life again. (John 1125) Jesus also said I am the vine & my Father is the cultivator. (John 151) The Bibles tells us that there will be no more tears, no pain, or sickness & death will be no more. (Rev. 213,4) What a wonderful time, we can look forward to, seeing our loved ones once again
Dear Ellis and Family, I’m very sorry about your loss. Mrs. Dowdy was such a kind and caring woman. Her regard for me as a kid was positive and consistent, and she was always generous of heart. May your grief fade to the joy that she continues to live in you and yours. God bless you. Douglas Pirkey
Ellis, I have been at the beach for the past 2 weeks and didn’t know that your Mom had passed! Please know how sorry I am….. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! Love ya, Stephanie Ramey
Hey Douglas . Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Mama always loved you and she was very kind and caring. It will be hard and I am going to miss her , but she is at peace and happier. This is what gives me comfort. Hope your doing well and again thank you.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Your special to us. We know she is in a better place and in peace.
Thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts. This is so helpful and comforting to me. Everyone has been so kind. It means so much to me and my family. She is at peace and we will be together again.
Ellis, It has been many years since I have seen you, possibly going back to the 60’s. However, more recently, I remember my mother, Jerry Smith, who died in 2010, talking about times with your mother. I know it is a transition to no longer see or talk to your mother. I pray that God will give you a sense of peace and healing as you grieve. Tommy Smith
