Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We had some good times, especially at the beach. Sitting on the porch, talking and alot of grilling. Loved riding the golf cart and going places . Rembering the times when he felt like it fishing and riding the beach side. Rest in piece 💔 on the other side.

  6. Where do I start. I will always cherish the memories we had together. I know my life will never be the same without you. You were my rock. I love you with all my heart. Rest in peace my love. Love you forever, Betty

  7. I couldn’t have asked for a better man to call my p-pa. Growing up, he was always the father figure that I needed growing up while my momma would go overseas. I’ve always looked at grandma and p-pa as my second set of parents and for that I’m truly grateful because they sculpted me into the person I am today. There’s so many great memories with him from fishing to going to the animal shelter to give the dogs treats, but one of my most favorites was the one year for my birthday he surprised us all by grabbing a pair of skates and getting out on the rink with everyone. No one expected him to actually get out there, but seeing the pure joy in his face was priceless and it’s a memory I will forever treasure. He had a heart of gold and there’s no denying that he loved his family to pieces.
P-pa, this isn’t a,“goodbye”, it’s a,”see you later”. Thank you for always being you. I love you forever and always. You will never be forgotten and you will live on forever in our memory. I’m so grateful to be blessed enough to have you as my P-pa.
    Love always,
    Your “Bean Head”
    Brianna

  8. Pops,
I know you are in a better place and no longer in pain, but my heart is broken. I will never forget everything you have ever done for me! Your influence has shaped me into the person I am today. I know that you passed on your stubbornness and attitude to me 😂. My most favorite memories of you are watching you as a P-pa with your grandkids. You were the best grandfather… you would let them get away with all the things that got me and Michael in trouble 😂. I love you and miss you! I know you will watch over us until we see each other again!

  9. This picture sits in your man cave and has been their as long as I can remember. This was the best day of my life when you allowed me to take your daughters hand in marriage! You were always their for us any time we needed you and always shared your wisdom with me, wisdom that I still look to and cherish to this day. I will miss our funny off the wall conversations and joy rides we use to take to try and find your next project or car and the random phone calls just to see what was going on. I still can’t imagine this life without you here P-Pa, coming home will never be the same.
I miss you so much already but we will meet again one day!
Till Valhalla P-Pa we love you!
    Love Nick

  10. Hadn’t seen Mike in many years, but so many of my Childhood memories include him & his family from Coaching our Basketball Team where we went undefeated all year & he had a Limousine pick us up from the championship game & take us back to his house where he had a feast for everyone, staying with them for days at the time, swimming, playing basketball & even helping them cut there grass, he got upset with me one day cuz I almost ran over a drop cord with the riding mower…lol, & even him getting mad one day when little Mike went Boating with us & chipped his tooth on the knee board. Also remember one morning I had stayed with them, when we got up, we watched a Video of Laurie singing on Stage in some kind of play or competition I believe , & it broke Mike down cuz he said that was the prettiest thing he had ever heard. I didn’t realize how many memories I had until I started writing this. Good times that have never been forgotten, Life was much easier back then too. My Prayers are with the family during this time 🙏🏼

  11. Mike was one of the first people we met when we bought a place at the boardwalk Rv park. He was so nice to us and enjoyed joking with us. He helped Thomas with some things on our Rv as we had no clue what we were doing. We enjoyed taking to him many times. We will miss seeing him riding around on his golf cart. He loved to ride around the park and loved to cut through the grass by Joanne’s place until he got banned from that side! Funny memories. Kathryn and Thomas Wrenn

  12. Pops…25 years of my life, I was honored to know you and get to spend so much time with you! I will miss you so much! I’m so sorry you and Mike never had the chance to beat me and Ma in Spades (you cheating thing you!! 🤣) and we will continue to celebrate our wins the same way that tore your nerves up. I will always miss our bowling date nights my teenage years… to you dragging us out to eat at the beach (when we wanted to just cook on the grill)! You were deff one of my most favorite hard headed men I have ever known & you definitely did things your way!! You had a heart of gold and I will never forget our time together! ❤️ Go rest high on that mountain! We love you! When you asked me to hug you the other day, it just reminded me how much you have always loved me, I needed that more than you did. 💙

(I’m not telling everyone that you and Mike are undefeated..♠️..)

  13. To a great big brother, life want be the same without you. I will miss your advice and help. Until we meet again rest easy. I love you.

  14. Q: How did you meet Donnie?

A: My fiance Waylon Hines went to work for Mike a few years ago they became very close friends,he would do anything to help us out,he took Waylon to get his first motorcycle 🏍️ when Waylon passed away in 2022,I thought I probably would never see or hear from Mike again but him being the special friend he was to us he would call once in a while to see how I was doing and he would always say how much he missed his buddy Waylon Hines,Rest Easy My Friend.Mike Wall.you will always be in my memory. So sorry for all his family that I know he loved dearly.😢

  15. My lifetime of knowing Mike, was he very kind hearted if he liked you. He could be very stubborn at times. He would do anything for you, especially when he was not in pain. During the times at the beach. He loved playing cards and would cheat especially keeping score
He did love some of his beach friends. His most devoted and lovely companion was his wife, she suffered right along with him. He loved each one of his grandkids. He always said invitation only to his funeral, lucky me I was one them. Pass time was cooking on the grill, talking and riding the golf cart. Alot of good memories with Mike. We all will miss him, but knowing he is no longer in pain in his heavenly home. KENNETH AND LINDA GARRETT ♥

  19. Uncle Mike you were a one of a kind . You were like a big brother to me you showed and taught me about life . Those famous words” your a wall girl” that meant I could do and accomplish anything . I always new I could call you if ever I needed anything or just needed to talk and you would always be there. Thanks for that much love rest easy

One memory: I was 20 getting married and Mike was the best man Betty was my matron of honor I was running late and my fiance was getting nervous and in typical Mike fashion he holds a knife on him and tells him he will wait till I arrived lol 😂 we all laughed about that day my “shotgun wedding”

  20. Pops,
I appreciate all the knowledge and wisdom you passed on to me. As much as I love sports some of my best memories are one with you. I will never forget the Championships we won in Basketball, the limousine rides afterwards. I won’t ever forget the countless practices yall hauled Laurie and I too. I only remember one time you got upset after working all night and me forgetting my glove! I won’t ever forget the fishing trips we would go on. I thought we were just fishing. Now being a father of my own I know as a father we were doing more than just fishing. You taught me to be successful in life you have to get up early and get your hands dirty. You made me work for every dollar and if I wanted something I had to work to pay for it. I really appreciate the values you instilled in me. To this day Tasha says I act just like you…not sure what she means lol. If you didn’t know before I just wanna say Thank you! Your work here is done. Until we meet again!
    Love your son Lil Mike

  21. I will never forget you. Just know that your children, grandchildren , and I love you so much. We will definitely miss you more than you will ever know. Our children and grandchildren will continue to make you proud as we know we have a guardian angel looking after us. We have had some good times and bad times but I choose to remember all the good times. When I met you many years ago I thought you were the best looking man I ever laid eyes on and you still were 44 years later. This is not goodbye, it is till we meet again. I love you with all my heart.
