Clifton Ray Frederick

Clifton Ray Frederick, 86, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011. A native of Rocky Mount, he was born August 23, 1924, the son of the late Moseley Luther Frederick and Lillian Grimes Frederick. He was also preceded in death by brother, Wayne Howard Frederick and sister, Mildred F. Smith. Ray is survived by his wife, Miriam Taylor Frederick; brother, M.L. Frederick and wife Shirley of Rocky Mount; special nephew, Gregory D. Frederick and wife Alison, and their children, Natalie and Joseph; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Bergland officiating. Visitation with the family will be after the service.
