Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Charlotte is someone who didn’t judge people, and complained less than anybody I know – except about herself. I strive to be like her but haven’t gotten there yet. Her influence on my own family will be remembered, and we will miss her. Linda Woodlief

  2. Grandma Charlotte you will be missed! You were always happy to have us over, always sharing, always loving, always accepting, always generous! We love you Grandma Charlotte!

  3. Ms Charlotte was an inspiration to anyone who meet her. She encouraged me an always had smile on her face. She lifted me up when I should have been lifting her up. We at Dortches Baptist Church have lost a saint and heaven has gained one. We all loved you Ms Charlotte

  4. I was so blessed to have this sweet lady as my 4th grade teacher..we all loved her…we made puppets out of paper- mache for our class puppet. show. My mom made the body of my puppet and that led to their lasting friendship…….and my mom making all the other puppets too….also remember her teaching the song Have you ever swung on a star..carried moonbeams home in a jar……as well as the multiplication tables which she somehow made so much easier…..and our friendship continued…Skip and Mary Wright were in my class of 1964….and Skip always headed up our class reunions..which came to a screeching stop at his death….until our 50th reunion last month. I was always amazed at how gracefully she aged …she will be missed Pat Marks McDonald
