Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Gina–how very wonderful to hear from you and I so appreciate the wonderful words about my mom and dad. They were both true treasures to Nash County and Rocky Mount. They will now share themselves with other angels in God’s Kingdom. Ann

  2. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you walk this road of sorrow. May God grant you peace as you fondly remember your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was truly a lady in every sense of the word. Grady & Harriet Howell

  3. Our thoughts are with you during this time. Some of my most treasured childhood memories are of Mom and Pop Overton. I remember many Christmases visiting with them and the family. Pop always smiling and laughing and Mom always in the kitchen cooking and telling stories. I still compare every barbeque to the best found at Overton’s and not one has ever measured up in my mind. Mom and Pop Overton were treasures for sure! Please know that we share in your sorrow and will miss this lovely spirit lovingly called Mom Overton. She was an angel on earth. Respectfully, Tim, Gina (Pittman), and Garvey Blackwell

  4. Our deepest sympathy goes out to all the Overton Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that a life well lived will be well received. Mrs. Overton was a good person, so warm and friendly to everyone. She will always be remembered by students at Benvenue school for her close support through the years. Jerry and Christine Moore

  5. To all the family — God Bless You all. I have missed seeing Carolyn over the past few years and have missed her. She was a bright spot in my life when I did get to see her. Such a special person. May God be with you all and give you peace. Adelaide Scott
