Carl Wesley Page died peacefully July 29, 2011 at Brekenridge Assisted Living after a year of declining health. Born October 16, 1927, the son of the late Ashley Vernie Page and Marvel Coley Page, he served in the U.S. Navy and later owned Carl's Mobile Home Services.
Carl was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Vivian Cockrell Page, three sisters and two brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Dickie Page, Jimmy Page and wife Gwen; PaPa's special granddaughters, Dr. Lindsay Brantley and husband Michael, and Kelly Page all of Rocky Mount. Also surviving brother, Dick Page; sister, Marie Boone, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Brekenridge and Community Home Care & Hospice for the care and support during Carl's last days.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 1, 2011 in the Mausoleum at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Chet Rains officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
