  1. Carl was a credit to every endeavor he chose to be involved in…and they were many! During his lengthy service at Carolina Telephone, he was a valued and highly respected member of his work group and a person to whom many sought out for his knowledge and technical expertise. I was fortunate enough to share time with Carl in two of his life’s venues, the telephone company and the RCMT Christmas Chorus. He was always there to offer assistance to myself (or anyone else) in both of these arenas and I am eternally grateful for the time we shared. Many of the things I learned from Carl, I still employ today! As much as he will be missed here on earth, I am certain he is being received with open arms in his heavenly home. They are getting a good man indeed! Goodbye one last time, Carl. Sam Toler

  2. I deeply regret not being able to attend the services and dedications forto my late Uncle Carl. I was fortunate and blessed by being able to see and spend time with him in Kinston before his passing. He was truly a great man, and the last of a great generation. He will surely be missed not only by myself, but also by all whose lives he touched. His wisdom and faith was immeasurable.

  3. Dear Patsy, I am so sorry to learn of the death of Carl .My thoughts & prayers are with your & your family. Katharine Woodley me the obituary & I have sent it on to Maxine Stanley. Sincerely Jimmy Corbett 804-359-2370 [emailprotected]
