  2. I had the pleasure of being a neighbor to Bonnie and got to know her daughter and Husband, I also worked pretty close to her for several years while I lived in Rocky Mount. Bonnie, with out a doubt lived life to the fullest. She was a great mother, wife and friend from what I could gather and the flowers she had in her yard were fawesome, I remember a bunch of Friday night parties on the deck where she knoecked on my door and made me come over there…she was so nice! My kids will be really upset when I inform them, as will my wife Sandy. God Bless Bonnie and all the best to her family and friends she has!!! Dan Hartman

  3. Dream as if you’ll live forever, Live as if you’ll die tomorrow. I truly believe Bonnie live by this quote. She was a very kind, caring, fun loving, easy to talk to, and genuine friend and we will miss her dearly. We loved living close many years ago and truly loved visiting Rocky Mount on our yearly treks to Myrtle Beach. We love you Bonnie, Ashley and Gordon and will miss you so. Wish we could be there to wrap our arms around you both and give some comfort, but it is not to be right now…hopefully soon. Love, Hugs and prayers for your comfort. Rick and Toni

  4. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered come to me. With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.-Author Unkown Bonnie was such an inspiration & I feel blessed to have known her. Leslie Kennedy

  8. I moved in next door to the Blue family in 2007, coming out of a realationship, feeling very lost and alone for the first time in a long time and in need of a friend. While helpng me unload my belongings, Bonnie welcomed me to the neighborhood and to her dinner table and then sent me home with food for later. She didn’t know me from Adam. I felt like part of her family from the get go. Always a smile and kind word and the occasional swift kick in the behind when I needed it. I felt Love from my friend. I miss you Sweetie

  9. WE will never forget Bonnie, She lived life to the fullest and was always on the go. One of my fondest memories was when we put our pool in, Bruce and Earl were building the deck so we could get in the pool. Well me and Bonnie could not wait, we had to get in, so we got a chair out of the house, stepped up and fell over in the pool. Once we were in, we were good, until we needed another Bloody Mary!!!!! I will remember you fondly my friend and think of you when in the pool and each time I drink a Bloody Mary! We love you much, Bruce and Peggy
