I was shocked and saddened to hear of Miss Betty’s passing. She was one of the kindest, loving and giving people I have known. She came to have a special place in my Dad’s life at a time it was needed and therefore in our lives. Donna Lancaster Joyner

To the family and friends of Betty Crooker we extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one and our dear friend. Betty came into our lives in the late nineteen ninties when she married a good friend of ours, Virgil Crooker and moved west to be with him here in Grandview Washington. Then we had a pair of good friends as we fell in love with Betty. They made such a handsome, happy couple. They would travel around in their motor home and always come back to Sunnyside where they had purchased a place in the country. We had many days of good viisting with her and Virgil. Then they moved back to North Carolina where cancer took Virgil’s life. We went to see Betty where she lived in Wilson on a trip to see a life long friend in Kinston and spent a couple of wonderful days visiting her. She was one of the nicest, most loving and interesting friend that one could ask for. We had hope to see her again this year as we travel back east to Arkansas, but we are saddened that we will not see her again in this life, but God through his Son Christ Jesus holds out a ressurection hope for all mankind that we will see our loved ones again, we look forward to seeing Betty again. May God bless all Betty’s family and friends with his Holy Spirit to help you endure your period of grieve. We grieve with you all…..Joe and Opal Tayon….Grandview Washington

As we make our journey throu this life, death is our final stop. The Bible gives us comfort in our time of grief. Even the perfect man, Jesus Christ, Gave way to tears. So greatly grieved over the death of his friend, Lazarous.(John1135) Jesus said I am the resurrection, & the life. (John1125) What a wonderful gift we have been givin, to have the hope of seening our loved ones once again.
