  1. We are so sorry to hear about Betty. What a wonderful Christan lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Jim and Mary Lib Wordsworth

  2. A part of my childhood… I remember your house Bettina..inside and out. My first pajama sleep over was upstairs,….so special..we stayed up late!! And then I went home and got back in bed. Part of these comforting memories were because your beautiful mother made me feel a part of your family.. I remember her like it was yesterday. So pretty, so sweet, so kind…just like you. Love you Bettina Godwin… Always have , always will. heart

  3. Charles, Bettina, Nancy, and Clark, your mom was such a wonderful person, and so pretty! I saw her a few years ago with Bettina at Belks in Raleigh and when I walked up to her she said Beth in such a warm, welcoming voice. I was surprised that she knew who I was right off the bat. Her skin was as beautiful as I remembered! I have so many good memories of being at your house back in the childhood years. We had a fun neighborhood didn’t we And I remember your mom being a great cook, and your parents were fun folks. They are at peace now. Would love to see you guys. Thinking of you, Beth Kincheloe
