I am sure that the best day fishing I ever had was with Bub at Dick Collie’s farm pond, I was using artificial bait and Bub was using natural bait. The bass and bream were both tearing up my lures and Bub wasn’t getting hardly any fish, and after my 4th or 5th bass Bub said dang Danny how bout letting me try one of those lures. He did and we caught all the bass and bream we wanted and them some. We headed home and grilled fish with hush puppies, fries and sweet tea ,it is a happy memory with a friend that will always make me smile when i think of Bub. Bub will be missed but the memories we all have of him will keep him with us .
This was one of the nicest men I have ever worked with or known. It was an honor to be his friend. When I worked for Nash County 911 Bub would come by during the day shift and pick up paperwork. He would take the time and talk to everyone in there and joke with us. As was Bub I too was a sundrop lover. When Bub found out he would bring me the coldest sundrop I had ever had. I am going to miss hik but so glad he is not suffering anymore. See you again one day Bub and have me a sundrop when I get there ! (lol) Love you my friend !
My condolences to the Pittman family. I’m Virginia Marshmon, I worked with bub at Nash country Sheriff’s office for several years. He will truly be missed. He was such kind spirited person with a great big heart. R.i.p my friend.
My condolences to the Pittman Family. My name is Brian Lewis,I worked with Bub for the 10 years I was employed by The Nash County Sheriff’s Office and also had the privilege of being his neighbor as well. He was such a honorable and dedicated person whom seemed to never have a bad day. He never called me by my name it was always My Brother. My family as well had the privilege of knowing Bub and he soon began calling my mother, Momma. He will be Greatly missed but I know he’s in a better place. My prayers to his family and my God give u strength to endure this sad occasion. Retired Sergeant Brian Lewis NCSO…..
Neil, I haven’t seen you in a while but please let your family know they are in my thoughts and prayers.
Beautiful!!!
Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.
This is late just finding out he has passed away he will always be remembered by me by his warm smile when he stopped at my place of employment. rip my friend
