Anita Bottoms Johnson

Sharpsburg, NC - Anita Bottoms Johnson, 63, passed away Friday, December 4, 2009. She was born in Edgecombe County on March 17, 1946, daughter of the late William Weddle Bottoms and Louise Proctor Bottoms. She was a dedicated member of Sharpsburg Baptist Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 38 years, Donnie Johnson of the home; sister Linda Narron of Rocky Mount: Godson Benjamin Gurganus of Cary, NC, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins. Anita will also be remembered by her special friends Pat Evans and Linda Davis, and special co-workers at BBT Insurance The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 pm Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at Wheeler Woodlief Chapel with Pastor Todd Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
