ROCKY MOUNT - Allen "Kibbles" Leon Wells, Jr., age 40, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was born in Nash County, NC on May 8, 1981. Kibbles worked for Baker Mechanical Inc. as the Service Manager. He had a love for his family, HVAC, and friends. Kibbles was always willing to help anyone who needed him, especially family. Kibbles is survived by his significant other, Jilian Tant; his daughters, Taylor Wells and Kailynne Wells, and their mother, Rebecca Wells; his parents, Allen Leon Wells, Sr. and Barbara Smith Wells; his brothers, John Shelton "Boot" Wells (Jennifer) and Alex Wells (Nikki); his aunts, Faye Thomas (Tommy), Teresa Langley, and Tammy Bridgers (Mike); his uncle, Stan Smith (Tonia); his brother-in-law, Adrian Fairhurst; cousins and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.   2. My love thoughts and prayers are with Rebecca the girls and the rest of the family as they prepare to say their final goodbye to Allen. My thoughts will also remain with you as the days ahead are going to be very hard, learning to live a life without His presence. Hold onto your memories and cherish them and never forget the times you had together, the good and even the bad! . I love you all very much!

  3. It was a sad, sad day to lose my beloved 1st nephew. He was a joy to be with and loved with all his heart. May God be with us all during this difficult time. RIP Allen.

  6. Kibbles was the one friend that everybody would love to have throughout life. I want to thank him for being that to me. I appreciated his honesty and always being there for me and my family.   8. Allen was one of those rare souls, even has a teenager he loved being with his family. I have many memories of cookouts and tinkering on vehicles with his dad and Rodger. He was a genuinely caring person and he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
