William Earl Bryant Ingram, Sr.

ROCKY MOUNT - William Earl Bryant Ingram, Sr. age 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on February 11, 1951, he was the son of the late Lemmie B. Ingram, Sr. and Annie Bender Hartley Ingram. William retired from the Rocky Mount Telegram as manager of the classifieds department after 30 years of dedicated service. Following his retirement, he worked for over 10 years with Van & RV Sales and Service. A longtime member of Northside Community Church, he cherished all of his church family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and dear friend to many, William will be deeply missed and never forgotten. William is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Ann Lamb Ingram; his son, Bryant Ingram (Connie); his daughter, Tammy Ingram Bryant (Stevie); his grandchildren, Christina, Katelyn, and Kayla Quincy, Will Ingram and Seth Bryant; his sister, Judy Ingram Jackson; his brothers, Lemmie B. Ingram, Jr. (Marie) and Keith Ingram, Sr. (Judy); and his nephews and nieces, Johnny Jackson, Melissa Savell, Shelly Farmer, Jennifer Robbins, Shawn Ingram, Bryan Ingram, and Keith Ingram, Jr. A Funeral Service to celebrate William's life will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Northside Community Church, 1660 Beaver Pond Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, with Pastor Mark Pridgen officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM prior to the service in the Sanctuary of Northside Community Church.
