ROCKY MOUNT - Travis Walter Evans, 27, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. He is the beloved son of Walter Steven Evans and Lucinda Wilder Evans of Rocky Mount. Besides his parents, he is also survived by his brothers, Bryan Moore and his wife Denise of Scotland Neck, NC, Kevin Warbritton and his wife Christine of Niagara Falls, Canada and Derek Evans and his wife Katie of Rocky Mount; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Register Wilder of Rocky Mount; and four nephews and 3 nieces. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 North Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, Post Office Drawer 490, New Bern, NC 28563 or Duke Cancer Institute, 710 West Main Street, Suite 200, Durham, NC 27701.   3. I first met Travis on a cruise in 2014. He was a delightful young man to be around and his smile and those beautiful teeth could light up a room. My heart goes out to Lucinda and Steve. It was my pleasure to have met Travis twice & both times it was great, we had wonderful times we BBQ got to know each other including Walter & Lucinda, everyone was so down to earth. Couldn’t have asked for a more loving Family to add to Our Family. The Family here in Canada are with Very Heavy Hearts at the Loss of Travis we Pray for everyone there in NC and Pray God Gives You All Strength, Love & Faith Trying To Deal With Another Light Going Out To Soon.
