  2. I wanna send my deepest condolences to his immediate family. He was the cousin who introduced me to my father’s side of my family. I knew Tim 2 years prior to knowing we were actually related. He always had a smile on his face, was always kind, and super talented. I will never forget our last conversation he and I had weeks prior to his passing. It was touching and he was so transparent with me like he’s never been before. We didn’t talk all of the time, but we still had a bond. Love you and miss you cuzzo! – Aaliyah

  3. To the Battle Family, Nini, Trina and all I am sorry for the loss of Tim Battle, a wonderful soul of talent and light in our world. I will always remember the fun times and the sheer joy he had of singing. composing and teaching so many youth and adults the way to music and heartfelt joy! I know he is a great place with the Lord who made us all, and I know he is having one beautiful songfest in the heavens! Our loss is heaven’s true gain, and I know one day in time as we go back to God, we will all experience his voice and talent again. As a consultant for the Torrance Performing Arts Consortium, which the South Bay Conservatory is a member of, I knew Tim well and worked closely with him as both a promoter, and as a private student of his in vocal instruction. I loved hearing his stories about how he touched the world with his lyrics. I have many memories, but one of my favorite is attending Easter Sunrise services at Rolling Hills Covenant Church with he, Nini and Trina which was held very very early, overlooking the amazing splendor of the Pacific Ocean on the day of Christ’s rising from the Dead for us all. I am sorry he left us so soon. The photo is from the Torrance Performing Arts Consortium, where Tim Battle was a musical director of many of the musicals for the South Bay Conservatory. The photo is by Joe Ikemoto, Torrance based professional photographer as noted. Peace be with all of you in your grief and know heartfelt prayers are with you and with Timothy.
