Steven Michael Johnson, age 51, died on Sunday, November 9, 2014. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on July 21, 1963, he was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Benjamin Johnson and Maggie Lenoir Kennedy Johnson and by his sister, Barbara Marlow.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Brandy Whitley of Rocky Mount, NC; his son, Dylan Whitley of Wilson; NC; his fianc, Phyllis Parrisher of Rocky Mount, NC; his sisters, Linda Raynor of Sharpsburg, NC, Bonnie Tucker of Rocky Mount, NC and Carolyn Jordan of Rocky Mount, NC; his brothers, Buck Johnson of Pinetops, NC, Jay Johnson of Rocky Mount, NC and Allen Johnson of Rocky Mount, NC. Steven is also survived by one grandchild, Madison Whitley of Rocky Mount, N C.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the home of his sister, Linda Raynor, 605 Batchelor Road, Sharpsburg, NC with Alan Whitley officiating. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service.
