Sandra Leigh Baker

Sandra Leigh Baker, 56, went to be with her Savior Tuesday, April 26, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 06, 1954 in Nash County, daughter of the late James Moses Baker and Pattie Mae Dozier Baker. She was also preceded by her brother, Merle Baker. She goes ahead to prepare a place for her two daughters, Angel Horne and husband Chris of Rocky Mount and Kristina Mills and husband Jay of Tarboro; step-children, Kenny Keen of Elm City and Sharon Nichols of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Brian, Matthew and Jayme Horne, and Lacey, Taylor and Kenan Mills; twin brother, William Baker of Gold Rock; sister-in-law, Cindy Baker; nieces, Paige Sykes and Patti House; nephews, Travis Baker and Jim Baker; and a host of family and good friends. Sandra will be greatly missed by her special babies, Peaches and Tigger. A service to remember Sandra will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Rev. Todd Greene and Rev. Allen Williams will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
