Samuel Archie Cockrell, age 96, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC from complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was predeceased in death by his loving wife, Jo and his eldest son, David.
Sam is survived by his daughter, Joan, his son, Bradley, his sisters Oretha Parker and Betty Ruth Ezzelle and his brother, Randolph.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
