Ruth Cobb Walker Sowers, 84, of Rocky Mount, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2016. Left to cherish her memories is her son, Aaron Richardson Walker Jr. (Peggy) and daughter, Evelyn W. Palacios (Leo). She was adored by her five grandchildren, Aaron Richardson Walker III (Angie), Nicole Walker Barnes, Aaron Rich Walker (Angel), Cierra W. Robertson (Melvin), and Rebecca Walker.
