I am so sorry, Jamie! I am praying for comfort and peace for you. I know your faith is strong enough to carry you through the difficult days. Jim and I are living in Banner Elk and won’t be able to get to Rocky Mount for the service, but know that I will continue to pray for you.
With deepest sympathy, Rusty is with the angels.

I’ve always thought of Rusty as my brother, and also my brother in Christ. He and his precious wife Jamie reached out to our family with open arms and wide open hearts. His love for Jesus is as strong as I’ve seen. I will miss his heart, his love for people and his contagious laugh. Through him, Jesus gifted him as a Pastor, and he will always be in my family’s heart, the very best Pastor. We will miss him beyond words, though I know Jesus loves having him at Home. A beautiful blessing to all who know him. Love forever, Sherry, Brandy and Taylor
With deepest sympathy,Love, Kathy and Greg Stopka
