Guestbook

  1. Our hearts , thoughts and prayers go to Jane and the family of Robert. He gave and did so much for the West Edgecombe Baptist Church and Edgecombe county. Robert will be missed by some many people. Robert has received his heavenly home joining other family members . No doubt that Robert will be at the heavenly gates waiting for Jane when her time comes. GOD give this family peace and love during this time and for months to come. In Christian love, Tom and Martha Barnes

  2. Thank you so much, Gary. I’m so glad someone got the news to you. I’ve heard some of the stories and maybe one day we can see one another and share as many as you will.

  3. Only the very fortunate make a true friend in their early youth who defines the high standards and value of a real and lasting friendship. I became one of these fortunate few when I was seated beside Robert in our 1959 third grade class. I became one of his many friends but more importantly learned from him at an early age the value and characteristics of a true friend. I have used these standards of friendship often since and I am certain it has changed my life. Robert and I made priceless memories (some Ill never share) on a regular basis between the third grade and college. My life would have been diminished had I never met Robert Wrenn. My deep sympathy to his family and friends. We will all miss him. Gary McAlister

  4. Jane, Our prayers are with you now and in the coming weeks. I will never forget the kindness and hospitality that you and Robert showed me (and my family) during our time in North Carolina. We serve an amazing God who promises to be with us always and certainly shows his presence even more so when we need him most. I’m so glad we exchange our weakness for God’s stength. We love you and will be thinking of you and the family today and for the days to come.

  5. As we make our journey through this life, death is our final battle. Whenever I am troubled, & lost in deep despair, I bundle all my troubles up & go to God in prayer. I tell him I am heartsick & lost & lonely, too, That my mind is deeply burdened & I dont know what to do But I know he loves me & I humbly ask if in his love hell calm my heart, for me& then I just keep quiet & think, only thoughts of peace & if I abide in stillness my restless murmurings cease. (Ps.3418) (John 316) Due to the ramson sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we know that we have the hope of seeing our loved ones once again. The Bible gives us hope, over & over again. Jesus said I am the resurrection, & the life. He that exercises faith in me, though he dies, will come to life again. (John 1125) Jesus also said I am the vine & my Father is the cultivator. (John 151) The Bibles tells us that there will be no more tears, no pain, or sickness & death will be no more. (Rev. 213,4) What a wonderful time, we can look forward to, seeing our loved ones once again
