Robert “Mack” McArthur Wilson

Mack Wilson, (48), of Holly Ridge, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. He was born July 11, 1963 in Rocky Mount, NC. He was the son of the late Robert McArthur (Bob) Wilson, Jr. and Josephine Hoyt Wilson, of Pittsboro, NC. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother and his sister, Elizabeth Hoyt Wilson, of Durham, NC. Mack graduated high school from Christchurch School in Christchurch, VA in 1982, then attended Chowan College in Murfreesboro, NC from 1982-1984. After returning to Rocky Mount, he was employed several years by Barcalounger and then by Fontaine Fifth Wheel. Mack grew up attending St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Rocky Mount, most recently being a member of Gateway Church in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 231 North Church Street in Rocky Mount, with the Rev. Scott White officiating. Family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Interment will be at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
