Phyllis Bone May

ROCKY MOUNT - Phyllis Bone May, age 83, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Born in Nash County, NC on January 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late W. Raymond Bone and Ethel Frances Cooper Bone. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Thomas "WT" May. Phyllis leaves behind to cherish her memory, nephew, Craig Bone of Rocky Mount; and brother, Phillip C. Bone of Rocky Mount. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum with Pastor Steve Roberson and Dr. Robin Fisher officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service and other times at the home of Phillip Bone. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, 3732 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.   1. Phyllis and I graduated from RMHS Class of 1953. A very dear friend. Even though we lived in different cities, we remained close. There were seven of us who shared Birthdays, Christmas Holidays together. Now with the loss of Phyllis, only 3 of 7 Are left. Love you Phyllis Janet Williams Perry

  2. Phyllis, was very kind lady.. Her husband WT worked with Tim for many years. We enjoyed fishing trip and eating what they might have caught ,. May God be, with her family they have lost a dear lady.

  5. I am sorry to hear about the death of Mrs. May. Death is a tragic event that leaves us in great sorrow. We all need comforting when we lose someone dear to our heart. Thankfully, we have the word of our Heavenly Father. Stated at Isaiah 258, God will swallow up death forever. Keeping the family in my prayers.
