Peggy Murray Morgan

Peggy Morgan went to meet Jesus face to face on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. She was born Peggy Joyce Murray to Jim Dona Murray of Spring Hope, NC, being the third of eight children. As a teenager, she put her faith in Christ. After a miraculous healing at the age of 43, Peggy lived her life to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through sharing her personal testimony, door to door witnessing, street evangelism, sending letters to prisoners and greeting card ministry. In addition, Peggy was gifted to teach the Word of God and held Bible Studies at the Pregnancy Care Center in Rocky Mount for a number of years leading many to Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James Oliver Murray, her sisters Doris Edwards, Ruth Tucker and Jean Newton, and her daughter Dawn Morgan. Peggy's surviving family includes her husband of 58 years, Dan H. Morgan; son Danny Morgan and wife Nancy; son Keith Morgan and wife Patti; daughter Tonya Bulluck and husband Greg; sisters Lois Wiggins and Nancy Green, brother Allen Murray; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Going Home service will be held at 6:00pm Friday, September 9, 2011 at Englewood Assembly of God with Rev. Gerry Blood officiating and assisted by Rev. Ron Dyson.
