ROCKY MOUNT - Pauline Eason Edwards, age 91, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. Born in Nash County, NC on May 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Eason and Ida Pridgen Eason. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carroll D. Edwards; son, Roger Dale Edwards; brother, Norman Eason; and sister, Hazel Lindsey. Pauline leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Jeanette Edwards of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by grandchildren, Marcus Edwards and James Edwards; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services with Rev. David Drumel officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. My dad use to always tell me about his summers that he spent with your parents and the fun he had shelling butter beans and peas at the Drive in movies.
