Paul Frederick Davis

ROCKY MOUNT - Paul Frederick Davis, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Born in Marmet, WV on November 29, 1942, he was the son of the late Fred Davis and Jinive Wells Davis. He was also preceded in death by his grandsons, Sgt. Derek Davis, and Kyle Davis. Paul served his country and was an Army veteran. He was a longtime member of Arlington Baptist Church. Paul worked for Bearing & Power Transmission for over 30 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be missed by all who knew him. Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 54 years, Sharon Young Davis; son, Paul Davis and wife, Lora, of Aberdeen; and daughter, Sherry Helton and husband, Steven, of Raleigh. He is also survived by granddaughter, Madison Helton. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
