Paul Albert Lane, Jr.

Rocky Mount - Paul Albert Lane, Jr., age 50, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015. Born in Danville, IL on August 20, 1965, the son of Paul A. Lane, Sr. and Toni Jones Ferrell. Paul was the true definition of a family man as he surrounded himself with the joy and laughter of his children and grand-children. He ensured that each of his children knew what love was about and it especially showed in his affection towards his four grand-children, Ayden, Kobe, Samantha, and Christopher who all knew him as "Pa". Paul was known amongst friends as the story-teller and could always entertain with shared laughter those around him. A compassionate man he was, he was a beloved son, loving father and grand-father, caring brother and friend to all and will be dearly missed. Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother and father, his daughters, Brandi Lawrence and her husband, Craig, of Ina, Illinois; Amber Woolley and her husband, James, of Rocky Mount and Heather Langley ; and son, Aaron Lane also of Rocky Mount. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving grandchildren, Ayden and Kobe Woolley both of Rocky Mount and Samantha and Christopher Lawrence both of Ina, Illinois; his two sisters, Missy Naccarato and Jessica Boeck and her husband , Benjamin; and two brothers, Matthew "Bobby" Lane and his wife Misty and Goble Lane and his wife, Brenda. A beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM.
