Pattie “Pat” Joyner Langley

ELM CITY - Pattie "Pat" Joyner Langley, age 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on December 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Levy Louis Joyner and Gladys Watson Joyner. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Linwood Joyner and Adron Joyner. Pat is survived by her sisters, Jean Bass and her husband, Leonard of Elm City and Barbara Joyner Cobb of Rocky Mount; her brothers, Bobby Joyner, Lee Joyner and his wife, Barbara and Wayne Joyner and his wife, Debbie all of Elm City; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service to celebrate Pat's life will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Johnny Hudson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mill Branch Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
