Patsy Baker Pittman

WHITAKERS - Patsy Baker Pittman, age 70, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on October 14, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Richard Thomas "Tom" Baker and Dolly Gray Wells Baker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Pittman; her brother, Robert Carter Baker; and sister, Mary Pierce.
Pasty retired from Barcalounger. She worked as a caregiver for many years. Patsy was a longtime member of Gethsemane Church.
Patsy is survived by her sister, Rosa Ann Baker Sykes (Stewart) of Whitakers; her nieces, Regina Moseley (Paul), Tammy Morris (Steve), Betty Ann Parish (Lester), Tonya Baker, Tracey Radford (Dallas), Patricia Braswell (Clifton); her nephew, Lee Pierce (Crystal); and her fur baby, Odie.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Gethsemane Church Cemetery, 7430 Seven Bridges Road, Whitakers, NC 27891. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the home of Ann Sykes.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is requesting the need for social distancing and wearing of masks due to health concerns faced around our nation at this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. We we were young, I remember the nights that Mary, Patsy, Jean and I spent together, drinking our Pepsi Cola’s , always treating me like I was Family! We were! Patsy was a sweet woman and had a heart of gold. She will truly be missed!! May the Lord give the family and her friends peace and comfort at this time!!

I knew Patsy from working with her at BarcaLounger and then her caring for my mother. She was such a sweet person that I know my family will miss.So heartbreaking 😢
