  17. Nancy was my sister. With her being 16 years older she helped raise me. Nancy and Ronnie took me to Disney as a youth, enrolled me on my first team to play baseball at the YMCA. ….among many other special moments. Nancy was the point person who always inquired to ensure family would attend family reunions, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Many times when I would be with her people would come up to us and say that she taught them and her children. She remembered their names. We always knew we could count on Nancy when for a birthday card to arrive via US mail for my family members. Nancy and Ronnie took care of our mother, Peggy in their home the last two months when she was suffering with cancer so she would not pass away in a hospital or nursing home. . Nancy was a very loving and sweet person. It is a evident she loved her family as evidence of the pictures in her home and the photo albums she organized. She always wanted to know when I was coming to Rocky Mount and if I would stop by to see her .. even at 1000 p.m. after attending a Gryphon football game. It was very hard to see her suffer physically the last few years with her health as I knew she wanted to travel and freely visit loved ones. I know based on my conversations with Nancy that she was saved and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. I know she is in a better place. I look forward to seeing her again soon! John 316 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. … For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

May God give her entire family strength during this time and rejoice in the fact that you will see her again in heaven one day. Rest in peace sweet Nancy!!!
