Michael Clifton Parker

Michael Clifton Parker, age 66, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. Born in Nash County on March 13, 1947, he was the son of the late Norman Clifton Parker and Rachel Bissette Parker.
He leaves behind his sons, Michael Keith Parker (Kristie Howell) of Nashville and Norman Wayne Parker of Elm City; grandchildren, Aron, Sarah and David; and former wife, Eva Perry of Elm City.
A memorial service to remember Michael will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Greene officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.

My sincere condolence to the Parker family. During this time of sorrow, meditating on Jehovah`s promises can provide us with comfort and hope-2 Cor. 13, 4. How comforting to know that death will be done away with! All the promises of God are faithful and true-Rev 214, 5! Can we see our dead loved ones again Jesus assures us that we can! At John 528, 29 we are helped to appreciate by Jesus, not to marvel at the fact that there will be a resurrection! Yes the memorial tombs will open, and People will come out! May you be comforted!
