Mary Maxine Dixon

Mary Maxine Dixon, 71, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010. She was born January 6, 1939 in Whitakers, daughter of the late Herman Marks and Fostine Watkins Marks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Boyd Dixon and sister, Ellise Garris. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Kenneth L. Dixon of Tarboro, Michael Steven Dixon and wife Lisa of Elm City, and David Allen Dixon and wife Heather of Nashville; sister, Ruby Snowden and husband Bill of Enfield; four grandchildren, Christopher Dixon, Brandon Dixon, Brittany Dixon, and McKennah Dixon; and several loving nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be from 7-8:30p.m. Tuesday evening, July 13, 2010 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mike and Lisa Dixon.
