Mary Elizabeth Whitehead Bellamy

Mary Elizabeth Whitehead Bellamy, 89, of Enfield went to her heavenly home on November 12, 2013. She was born in Scotland Neck, NC, April 25, 1924 to Claude Kitchen Whitehead and Lena Betsy Wordsworth Whitehead. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leo Bellamy and brother, Claude Whitehead, Jr. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Nancy Judge (Roger) and Darlene Wells (Richard) of Enfield. Granddaughters, Amy Lee of Raleigh, Marcie Credle (Chris) of Zebulon and Tara Magliaro (Stephen) of Neerpelt, Belgium lovingly know to them as Nana. Gi Gi especially loved her great grandchildren, Zach Lee, Logan and Kinsley Credle and Leo Magliaro; sister, Frances Narron of Newport News, VA; special sisters-in-law, Thelma Bellamy, Janice Roberson, and Wilma Whitehead. The family will receive friends, Friday, November 15, 2013 from 1:15 - 2:15 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 2:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. The Reverends Kerry Peeler and Marc Sanders officiating. There will be a private burial later.
