Maria “Cristina” Cardoso

ELM CITY - Maria "Cristina" Cardoso, age 66, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Born in Rosario, Argentina on March 9, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Juan Carlos Cardoso, Sr. and Francisca Bruno Cardoso. Cristina was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed, but her loving spirit will never be forgotten as she was everything to her family. Above all, her most cherished memories will be those spent with her family. She especially enjoyed watching Skylar's dance competitions and attending Ashlyn's soccer games. Cristina leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Maria "Gabriela" Brunetti, Maria "Daniela" Brunetti, and Maria "Kristina" Brunetti, all of Elm City; her precious granddaughters, Skylar Isabella Brunetti and Ashlyn Francesca Brunetti. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, a brother, Juan Carlos Cardoso, Jr. of Arizona. A Special Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.   7. I never met Christina but we spoke many many times on the phone. She was very proud of her family and loved them deeply. I know she will be missed. But to her family, she will always be with you. Prayers to all.

  9. Although I didn’t work with Cristina directly, I always looked forward to seeing her at the birthday lunches the ladies in my company have throughout the year. She always had so many stories to share about her family, and all the fun things she did after she retired from ESI. She will be missed.
