ROCKY MOUNT – Maniben Rambhai Patel passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Rocky Mount, NC – just shy of her 101st Birthday. She was born on September 23, 1923, in India.
She is survived by her 5 children and their spouses, as well as 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Known for her caring and loving nature, Maniben was a devoted friend and family member. Her concern for others was evident in her frequent check-ins. She was a vibrant individual who balanced a healthy lifestyle with a love for her favorite foods. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Ceremony to celebrate Maniben’s life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A Special Gathering with the family will be on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
