Precious Memories
Drew Jones was a special man! He was always ready to help anyone with no questions asked! As director of Veterans Residential Services of Wilson I saw his love for our Veterans! Drew loved everyone and he was a fantastic friend who I will miss dearly!
Really missing “my brother by another mother “ . (Just our kidding around saying) some say we were so much alike in many ways. He was such a mess; but, I cared a lot for him.
To the family: you are wonderful people and l Iove and care for all. My prayers are for Jesus to protect and guide each one in His Holy Way.
May you be able to endure me forever because for some reason Drew became my brother; your sister became my God-sent daughter, Paxton became my BOSS and I love YOU ALL.
I’ve not had the opportunity to meet Major Drew Jones, but have had the privilege of meeting his daughter JoAnn,whom I’ve learned to love and appreciate….I Especially pray peace over this family as they maneuver life without their Husband,Father,Grandfather and Friend.
Blessings,Kathie Cooper
I always remember when I first met him and Judy when they stopped to see Mike and I was cutting grass.
I loved when he would call and I can hear him now say to me “you’re breaking up.”
I sure will miss him.
Drew was a gentle soul who loved country, family, and friends! Drew’s personality drew you in and you became instant friends! I met Drew through Judy as she was a board member at Veterans Residential Services of Wilson! She was a true valued member to the agency but Drew became a dear friend to me and my husband! We will truly miss him!
It has been an honor to get to know Drew over last last 15 years or so. I look forward to seeing him again in God’s eternal kingdom. He was a true patriot who served our country in the US Army and also continued to be passionate about the health and direction of our country after his military service ended. Drew knew that commonsense, conservative, Christian values were key to our country continuing to be great.
I got to know Drew at services and events at Calvary Chapel of Red Oak, by email, and over the phone. One thing that made Drew unique was his ability to keep you unsure if he was being serious about something or if he was using his dry sense of humor! Sometimes I think he was utilizing both characteristics.
The church, NC, and our nation will not be the same without Drew. He will be missed!
